William "Blaine" Soils, 75, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Boone Hospital Center.

Services are being planned for a later date.

Blaine was born on April 3, 1949 in Mexico, the son of Clarence and Laura (Gannaway) Soils.  On February 26, 1972, he married Mary Jane Whitaker in Mexico.  Mary preceded him in death in 2018.

Blaine dedicated 31 years of his life to A.P. Green, where he contributed diligently and made lasting impressions among colleagues and friends. Beyond his tenure at A.P. Green, Blaine embarked on various entrepreneurial ventures, including managing BBQ and cab businesses. Known for his tireless work ethic, he embraced every opportunity that came his way, always striving to provide for his loved ones.

A cornerstone of Blaine's life was his unwavering commitment to his family. He cherished every moment with them, particularly during countless summer family trips that created lasting memories for all. His love and support extended beyond his immediate family, encompassing a wide circle of friends and acquaintances who cherished his friendship and valued his presence

Survivors include one son, Corey Soils of Mexico; two daughters, Rudy Graves of Rock Island, IL, and Andrea Brown of Columbia; one sister Christine; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Blaine was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents, Clarence and Laura Soils and one brother Buster Soils.
