William "Billy" Myers, 85, of Center, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Westview Nursing Home in Center, Missouri.

A celebration of life is being planned for a future date.

Mr. Myers was born on March 22, 1938 in Greentop, Missouri, the son of Daniel and Eunice (Cook) Meyers.

Bill didn't know a stranger.  He was a very loving person and accepted everyone.  He would always check on staff and residents at Westview.  Bill had one close friend, Tim Crow whom he had worked with at Pearl Motor Company.  He enjoyed sharing stories about his past.  Bill also enjoyed writing (even if no one could read it).  He always attended Church Services and liked to be dressed up and looking sharp.  Bill was a happy person and loved to express himself by dancing.

Survivors include three cousins, Alice (Myers) Western of Tuscon, AZ, Peggy (Myers) Hausley and Kathy (Myers) Ezell; one nephew, Scott Myers and one niece, Christy Myers.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Eunice Myers; one brother, Delbert Myers.
