William Thomas, Jr., 67, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Gamma Road Lodge in Wellsville.

William was born on October 15, 1955, in Hannibal, Missouri, the son of William and Ruby Thomas, Sr. He married Brenda Moser on July 26, 1981, in Hannibal.

Fishing, road trips, watching westerns and Sponge Bob were many of the things William enjoyed. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Any animal the kids brought home he loved.

William is survived by his wife, Brenda; three children, David Thomas, Ruby Drew and Betty Thomas; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Thomas, William Thomas, Lilian Hurt, Abbigale Drew, Dalton Thomas, Laura Hurt, Taylor Parker and Lincoln Hurt; one great-grandchild, Jasper Thomas; and one sister, Fay Coffman (James William, Jr.).

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruby.
