William "Grey" Greylan Crump, 71, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, at Rush Hill Community Church with Rev. Bob Stanford officiating.

William was born on September 15, 1951, in Mexico, the son of Thomas William and Mary Jane (Crum) Crump.

Grey loved to tell stories of the past and enjoyed visiting friends and all the people he knew.

Grey is survived by his fiancé, Sandy Allen of the home; sister, Gloria Jeanne (Donald) Chapman of Des Moines, Iowa; step-son, Jason Hinson (Gail Wilson); step-granddaughter, Kayla Hunt; two step-great-grandchildren, Easton and Emory Hunt; two nephews, Cory Chapman and Shawn Chapman; two nieces, Chas Kinzle and Tracie Johnson; and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by son, Michael Crump.
