Howard Wayne Stoddard, 60, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at his home.

Graveside Services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, at Bethlehem Cemetery in rural Centralia with Rev. Kevin Keeling officiating.

Visitation is Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home.

Wayne was born on December 13, 1962, in Hannibal, the son of Harry and Gloria (Bramblett) Stoddard. On May 31, 1980, in Monroe City, he married Cathy Anita Jarman.

Mr. Stoddard was a 1981 graduate of Monroe City High School. He was an over the road truck driver and, along with his wife, they owned and operated Stoddard Disposal Service LLC and Skyline Village.

Wayne was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Stoddard, of the home; one daughter, Elisa (Wade) Fitzpatrick of Mexico; one son, Calvin Stoddard (Lesley Graf) of Mexico; four grandchildren, Laci Fitzpatrick, Carrie Herndon, Heather Herndon and Cody Herndon; his father, Harry Stoddard of Fulton; two brothers, Chuck Stoddard of Eldon and Kenny (Amanda) Stoddard of Fulton; and one sister, Betsy (Andrew) Collins of Hannibal.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Stoddard.

Memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church. They may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson Street, Mexico, MO 65265.
