Wanda Jean Stewart, 70, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Monroe Manor in Paris.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Thursday from 12 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Wanda was born April 1, 1951, of Savannah, Missouri, the daughter of Dean and Doris (Graham) Benham. On June 4, 1988, at the Savannah First Christian Church, she married Eugene R. Stewart.

Mrs. Stewart was a 1969 graduate of Savannah High School and then attended Gards Business College in St. Joseph.  She was claims adjuster for Shelter Insurance Company and later worked in the office for Ben's Auto Body and Dr. Bill Jolly.

Wanda loved to travel with her husband and make jewelry. She was a member of the Savannah First Christian Church, where she sang in the choir with her mother.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Stewart of the home; step-daughter, Marcia L. Brooks of Centralia; two step-grandsons, Caleb Brooks of Centralia and Connor (Cheyenne) Brooks of Hallsville; two step-great-grandchildren, Colt and Camry Rose Brooks; and two brothers, Larry (Karen) Benham of St. Joseph and Garry Benham of Atlanta, Georgia.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents.
