Walter "Froggy" William Duckworth, 83, of Mexico, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, at his home.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Walter was born on January 20, 1938, in Montgomery County, the son of Walter L. and Ida Duckworth. He married Glenda Joyce Tate on June 5, 1960, in Wellsville. She passed away on February 1, 2017. Walter's fiancé was Donna Delp.
Froggy drove a truck for Pete Oliver for over 20 years. He enjoyed trucking, Sunday Bar-B-Cue's and sitting on the porch watching the birds and weather. Walter was most proud of his daughters and grandchildren. He loved telling stories and the occasional good lie!
Walter is survived by his fiancé, Donna Delp; three daughters, Robin (Mike) Kleinsorge of Mexico, Melissa (Roy) Shoemaker of Mexico and Tina (Chris) Early of Auxvasse; four grandchildren, Michael Kleinsorge of Mexico, Dustin (Amanda) Shoemaker of Illinois, Trenton Early of Columbia and Tyler (Emily) Early of Hannibal; and five great-grandchildren, Aurora, Donavon and Adella Kleinsorge and Lincoln and Foster Shoemaker.
He is preceded in death by his wife Glenda; and parents, Walter and Ida.
