Walter Goslin, 98, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville with Pastor Joe Pike officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, at Arnold Funeral Home.

Walter was born on July 24, 1925, in Thompson, the son of Jack and Norabelle (Ferguson) Goslin. He married Bettie C. Clement on April 12, 1951, in Mexico. She preceded him in death on April 5, 2018.

Walter was a member of First Baptist Church in Mexico. After retirement he enjoyed working on lawn mowers. Walter loved playing dominos and never lost a game!

He was survived by his children, Bill (Debbie) Goslin of Gulf Shores, AL, Lura Williams of Mexico, Lisa (Benny) Newsom of Mexico, and Lina (David) Peacock of Benton City; grandchildren, Austen Goslin of New York, MaryAnn (Miguel) Garcia of St. Louis and Julie Williams of Miami, FL; two great-grandchildren, Lucy and Mica Garcia; a sister, Betty Earle of Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews; and a good friend, John Miller.

Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Goslin; and two brothers, Lee T. Goslin and JD Goslin.

Memorials may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico Activity Fund.
