Vicki Jean Strait, 64, of Mexico, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Chris Atkinson officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. at Arnold Funeral Home.

Vicki was born on September 10, 1957, in Mexico, the daughter of Harold Lloyd and Dorothy Mae (Bishop) Strait.

Vicki retired in 2011, after teaching 31 years in the Warrenton, Moberly, and Hannibal school districts. She taught Middle School math and computers. Vicki enjoyed scrapbooking and working in her greenhouse. She loved her dog, Minnie.

She is survived by sister, Cynthia (Brian) Cox of Palmyra; brother, Harold (Janet) Strait, Jr. of Mexico; uncle, Don (JoAnn) Bishop of Mexico; aunt, Betty Bishop of Mexico; two nephews, Ryan (Christa) Cox and Jason (Nikki) Cox; two nieces, Cortney (Dustin) Broaddus and Danielle Cox; and two great-nieces, Madison and Maya Cox.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Strait.

Memorial may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital. They may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson St., Mexico, MO 65265.
