Valencia Rena Herndon-Bell, 51, of Jefferson City, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, at Arnold Funeral Home. Visitation is Wednesday from 12 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Repass will follow at Second Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Valencia was born on February 19, 1972, in Mexico, the daughter of Richard and Ellen Delores (Curtis) Herndon, Jr.

Mrs. Herndon-Bell loved to be around others and enjoyed playing bingo as well as many other games of cards.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Bell of St. Louis; four children, Jeroslin Shivers of Columbia, Jep-A Winn-Schuster of Troy, Lexus Herndon of Peoria, IL, Marquese Herndon of Jefferson City; three grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Herndon of Jefferson City and Richard Herndon II of Mexico; two sisters, Tina Gant of Killeen, Tx and Veronica (Ariel) Jenkins of St. Charles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ellen Herndon, Jr.; and one son, Norez Camp.
