Troy Allen Matthews, 80, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at his home.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 6, at Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Bryce Kristofferson will be officiating the service.

Troy was born on May 5, 1946 in Oklahoma, the son of Fredrick and Ellie (Newberry) Matthews. He married Janet King in Antioch, California.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Matthews and children, Michael, Tina, Shari, Wendy and Joleen; 10 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.
