Timothy Lane Maylee, 70, of Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital.

Mr. Maylee was born on April 30, 1951 in Mexico, the son of Sam and Sadie (Thompson) Maylee. On July 24, 1976, in Mexico, he married Jean Johnson.

Timothy had a passion for speed.  He spent many hours building motors for cars, which he would race anytime he could.  When Timothy was working, you could often hear his favorite band Boston playing.  He loved his family.  His children and grandchildren held a special place in his heart.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Maylee of Mexico; two daughters, Becky (Richard) Brashear of Mexico, Erin Maylee of Mexico; seven grandchildren, Dylan Maylee, Chase Melton, Ethan Maylee, Braden Maylee, Zander Maylee, Clayton Clifford, Mehaylee Brashear; two great-grandchildren, Ember Melton and Leeanne Mehan.

Mr. Maylee was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Sadie Maylee, three brothers, John Maylee, Bob Maylee and Sammy Maylee.
