Terri Burts, 51, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 14 at Fairground Park in Mexico.

Terri was born on February 2, 1972, in Columbia, the daughter of Thomas E. Burts, Sr.

Terri is survived by her father and mother, Thomas and Janet Burts, of Mexico; daughter, Trish Swindler of Clinton; four brothers, Tommy (Heather) Burts, Jr. of Webb City, David (Keila) Burts of Mexico, Joe (MaryAnn) Angel of North Carolina and Mark (Autumn) Angel of Buffalo; two sisters, Crystal Burts of Mexico and Teresa Padgett of Vandalia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Wesley Swindler; brother, David Prior; grandparents, Claude and Dorothy Burts; niece, Lola Prior; and nephew, Justin Angel.
