Teresa Elane Williams, aka (Reece), 69, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 in her home with her loving husband.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Arnold Funeral Home.  Pastor J. Allen McGlaun will be officiating the service.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Reece was born on February 15, 1955 in Mexico the daughter of David L. Bridgewater and Letha M. Miller.  On February 20, 1971, she married the love of her life Warren R. Williams, Sr.

Mrs. Reece attended Mexico High School and she was very active in her community.  She always was on point with her family duties.  She worked at Audrain Medical Center in the cafeteria, Hardees and Burger King with her son.  She believed family first.  She kept it real all the time! Reece was a member of St. Paul C.M.E. Christian Church the majority of her life.  She sung in the choir, ushered, serving as a stewardess for years.  Later in life she joined New Covenant Baptist Church.

Reece played softball for many years, primarily playing the positions of pitcher and catcher.  She enjoyed traveling, music, and dancing.  Her all-time highlight was playing cards!  Winning was the name of the game for her!  Towards the end of her blessed life, she found peace in sitting in her inside porch, listening to music, dancing to our own tunes.  Playing cards and telling you just how she really felt about you or what you were talking about.  She always had the last word.

She will always be remembered by that glorious smile/smirk especially after she spoke her mind.  She was the life of the party everywhere she went, and she was the last one on the dance floor.  She will be missed, but she will always be in our hearts.  Much loved, but never forgotten.

Teresa is survived by her loving, dedicated, devoted husband, Warren R. Williams, Sr.; daughter-in-law Paula Williams, Zelia (James) Nunnelly, Jerome Turner, Aquila Butler and Terry Dickendime; mother-in-law, Bonnie Miller; father-in-law, Don Clutter and brother-in-law, Rusty Miller.

Teresa was preceded in death by her son, Warren R. Williams, Jr.; parents, David L. Bridgewater and Letha M. Miller; brother, Ellis ford; sister, Betina Barnes and a host of aunts, uncles, brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and family.
