Tammy Lynn Winkelmann

Tammy Lynn Winkelmann, 56, of Hannibal, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Tammy was born on May 22, 1970, in Mexico, the daughter of James R. and Marie (Woolridge) Winkelmann Jr. She was baptized at Martinsburg Community Church and graduated from Community R-6 High School in 1990.

Tammy worked in housekeeping at Beth Haven Nursing Home and had served as a custodian at Hannibal High School for 15 years.

She enjoyed watching television, especially Wheel of Fortune, and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Tammy also enjoyed playing games on her cell phone and going out to eat, particularly at Fiddlesticks. She especially looked forward to weekend breakfasts along the Hannibal riverfront.

Survivors include her parents, Jim and Marie Winkelmann of Mexico; two sisters, Anna (Michael) Lambert of Washington and Nancy (Jim) Kitson of Mexico; six nieces and nephews, Jessica, Amanda, and Ross Lambert, and Elliot, Wyatt, and Mala Kitson; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Private family services will be held at the East Lawn Memorial Park Columbariums in Mexico.
