Suzanne J. Jackson, 80, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Heritage Hall in Centralia.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Suzanne was born on January 11, 1944, in Kirksville, the daughter of William and Mary (Stevenson) Yardley.

Suzanne had a special love for animals, especially cats and dogs, who brought joy and companionship to her days. She found endless delight in spoiling her grandchildren, creating memories filled with love and laughter that they will carry forever. Suzanne was an avid TV watcher and enjoyed the simple pleasure of a good show. She was a deeply spiritual person, which guided her throughout her life.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Shelden of Mexico; a son, Richard (Susan) Woolery of Columbia; six grandchildren, Aaron Shelden, William Shelden, Miesha Washington, Quincey Jackson, Teara Schneider and Kita Davenport; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Loeta Long.

Suzanne was preceded in death by a son, Michael Jackson; and a sister, Barbara Davis.
