Susan Marie Woods, 72, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Boone Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, at The First Church of the Nazarene with an opportunity to visit with family immediately following in the adjacent Clark Christian Life Center.

Susan was born on January 18, 1949, the daughter of William T. and E. Gladys (Hageman) Hendren. She married her high school sweetheart, Larry Woods on June 18, 1967, at The First Church of the Nazarene in Mexico.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader.  Susan was an active member of The First Church of the Nazarene. She was a Sunday School teacher and records keeper for many years.

Susan is survived by her husband, Larry Woods; one son, Jeff (Gretchen) Woods of O'Fallon; two grandchildren, Megan (Greg) McClellan and McKenzie Woods (fiancé George Juengel); three great-grandchildren, Addison, Isabella and Grayson McClellan, all of O'Fallon; five brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews

She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jennifer Elaine Woods; and three sisters, Wilma Hendren, Carol Willigus and Janet Weaver.
