Susan Jean King, 69, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, at Arnold Funeral Home with Chris Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Sue was a brownie and Girl Scout. When she was young, she volunteered as a candy striper, which led to her love of nursing. She had successful career as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed sewing, reading the bible, shopping, especially shoes and purses, swimming and the ocean. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Chris (Kenny) Burle of Mexico and Sandy (Jon) Hughey of Lake St. Louis; seven grandchildren, Krista, Trinity, Trey, Chase and Aubrie Burle and Autumn and Kristian Hughey; and one brother, Bill (Susan) Reidlinger of Millsboro, DE.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Betty Reidlinger.
