Steven R Batty, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2021.

Steven was born on June 30, 1963, to Fred and Norma Batty of Mexico, where he lived for most of his life. He attended Mexico Public Schools and worked for Brown and Sons Web Press Services for many years. Steven had a great love of dogs and was even nicknamed "Bate Dog".

Steven is survived by three sisters, Jackie Fuller of Greensboro, NC, Jody Owen of Mexico and Kelly (Terry) Hopkins of Silex; brother, Mike Batty of Mexico; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Norma Batty; grandparents, Ben (Mary) Eickhoff and Fred (Marie) Batty; and sister, Joyce (Gary) Utterback.

No services are planned at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent to Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S Jefferson St. Mexico, MO 65265.
