Sherry Lynn Richards Oligschlaeger, 66, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Barnes – Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m. and will continue into the evening on Saturday, October 29, at 205 N. Elmwood Drive in Mexico.

Sherry was born on November 20, 1955, in Mexico, the daughter of Anna Lee Newbrough.

Sherry loved reading. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially hanging out with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Mandy (Tim) Anders of Mexico; three brothers, Steven (Tammy) Oligschlaeger of Mexico, Paul (Lisa) Oligschlaeger of Mexico and Shawn Oligschlaeger of Centralia; four grandchildren, Lilly Rotte, Philip Rotte, Shelby Ludovicy and Sierra Anders; and three great-grandchildren, Skylynn, Logan and Isaiah.

Sherry is preceded in death by an infant son, Courtney Michael Barnett; mother, Anna Lee Oligschlaeger; and step-father, John L. Oligschlaeger.
