Shavez Aveon Waage, 22, of Columbia, formerly of Auxvasse and Denver Colorado, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Shavez's Funeral Services will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, at Arnold Funeral Home with Jason Smithee officiating. Burial will follow in the Auxvasse Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m.  until time of service at the funeral home.

Shavez was born on April 19, 2000, in Columbia, the son of Chasity Waage.

Shavez was truly an inspirational young man who had plans and dreams bigger than this world. Not only was he doing some amazing things in his life and taking care of all the people he loved but he pushed others to become the best versions of themselves as well. He loved to travel and really enjoyed exploring new places and meeting new people. Shavez had an immense love for fitness and weight lifting which he was using to help build and become the face of a nutrition/ supplement company. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, investing in the stock market and he especially loved his dog/son Moose who was always right by his side. There are no words to describe how amazing of a person, friend, son, grandson, brother and soon to be uncle he was. He has impacted so many people's lives in the best way possible and will truly be missed forever.

Survivors include his mother, Chasity Waage of Mexico; father, Leryan Lewis of Mexico; one brother, Austin See of Columbia; grandfather, Bob Hampton of Auxvasse; grandmother, Havana Cooper of Mexico; aunt, Regina McDonald and their children, Laura and Hanna, of Sturgeon; and his step-dad, Ray See of Columbia.

Shavez was preceded in death by one brother, Alex Waage; and his grandmother, Venita Hampton.
