Sally Lou Morris, 73, of Auxvasse, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Noble Health Audrain Community Hospital in Mexico.

Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, at Arnold Funeral Home with Mike Moore officiating. Private burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Visitation is Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sally was born on August 10, 1947, in Mexico, the daughter of William Edward and Edna Pauline (Moore) Beasley. On July 2, 1967, in Auxvasse, she married Mike Morris.

Sally was baptized and became a member of the Auxvasse Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Auxvasse High School in 1965 and worked 30 years at the Mexico Ledger.

Mrs. Morris spent more than 40 years camping and boating. Sally and Mike travelled all around enjoying areas such as Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Niagara Falls and Texas. They also spent six months each winter living in Donna, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Morris of the home; bonus kids, Lorie (Blair) Smith of Hallsville and Darwyn Wells of Jamestown; one brother, William "Bill" (Kathy) Beasley of Mexico; two sisters-in-law, Betty Beasley of Mexico and Sandra Shire of Bellevue, Nebraska; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Ed and Kathy Hurley and all of Sally's friends in Bit of Heaven in Donna, Texas.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Allen Beasley.
