Ruth Ann Kuda, "Ruthie Veltrop Kuda", 74, of Thompson, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at University of Missouri Hospital surrounded by her husband and four children.

Ruth was born on September 25, 1949 in Mexico, the daughter of Louis and Irene (Stegeman) Veltrop.  On October 12, 1968 she married Robert Kuda in Laddonia.

Ruth had a special place in her heart for all of her "fur babies".  She had several dogs as pets over the years, Roscoe being the latest.  Ruth was also extremely interested in the History of Mexico. She would spend time researching the history and looking for old photos of historical significance.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Kuda of Thompson; two sons, Robbie (Kristy) Kuda of Mexico and Rick Kuda of Columbia; two daughters, Risa (Steve) Messler of Covington, Ohio and Robin (Cory) Novak of St. Louis; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Irene Veltrop and one brother Donnie Veltrop.
