Russell Dale Miller, 81, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Russell was born on October 15, 1944, the son of Russell Carl Spencer and Dorothy Day Spencer. In 1956, he was adopted by Elmer Lee and Francis Miller. On May 7, 1969 in Louisiana, Missouri, he married Mary Frances Harrison. She passed away on February 16, 2020.

Mr. Miller had been a truck driver and loved to play dominos. He was also a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his children, Charlotte (Ed) Hoffman of St. Peters, Arthur John (Pam) Miller of Wellsville, Juanita (Jason) Mantle of Mexico, and Russell Dale Miller Jr. of Mexico; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sandy Simons of Texas.

In addition to his wife, Mary, Russell was preceded in death by his parents, adopted parents, one son, Kenneth Miller; and one brother, Alvin Spencer.
