Ronnie Allen Ferrell, 56, of Mexico, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Ronnie was born on March 7, 1970, in Mexico, the son of Jerry Lee Ferrell Sr. and Dorothy Sue Gentry. He graduated from Mexico High School in 1988. Ronnie spent many years working with the Laborers Union and, in recent years, provided transportation for the Amish community.

Ronnie enjoyed horseback riding and float trips, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Known for his kind heart and friendly nature, he never met a stranger and was truly a friend to all.

Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie (Shaun) Jesse of Mexico; his son, Dakota (Savannah) Ferrell of Fulton; two grandchildren, Anna and Lara Jesse; his mother, Sue Farris of Mexico; and five siblings, Rhonda (Richard) Campbell of Centralia, Jerry Ferrell Jr. of Rush Hill, Travis (Angie) Carson of Mexico, Tracy (Crystal) Carson of Higbee, and Shawnna Carson of Mexico.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Ferrell Sr.; and two nieces, Britney Tessman and Misty Ferrell.
