Ron Clark, 79, of Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Forman officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Anyone that knew Ron knows how much he loved cars, motorcycles, and racing. We can't think of a more fitting tribute for our Dad than to have a funeral procession out to East Lawn Memorial Park filled with hot rods, vintage cars and trucks, etc. We would love and appreciate for anyone who wants to, to bring your favorite toy or pride and joy and take one final cruise with Ron. Ron's '68 Camaro will be leading the procession which is going to file by his barbershop where he was a fixture for over 60 years. Drone video footage will be taken of this "Power Tour" by a very gracious Dan Barker. I know our Dad would have gotten a kick out of a send off like this, please come and join us if you can. Ron was born on May 10, 1942, in St. Louis, the son of Arthur and Mildred (Cook) Clark. He married Linda Crump Harris on June 16, 1974, in Mexico. In 1961, he attended Moler Barber College in St. Louis.

Ron was an avid race fan.  He enjoyed owning race cars and attending racing events.  Ron also owned and operated Ron's Barber Shop for over 60 years.

Ron is survived by two children, Robin (Joe) Polston of Mexico and Randy (Ondie) Clark of Mexico; step-daughter, Sonja (Ty) Eldridge of Mexico, eight grandchildren, Kristin (Mitch) Jurgesmeyer, Megan Eldridge, Shannon (Trent) Beshears, Ashley Williams (Brian Grote), Lindsay Polston (Shane Jackson), Jennifer Stuart, Alyson Clark and Eladio Clark; six great-grandchildren, Clayton Jurgesmeyer, Lauren Jurgesmeyer, Emma Jackson, Kendall Beshears, Linn Stuart and Matthew Stuart; brother, Mark (Karen) Clark of Mexico; sister, Cindy (Phil) March of Centralia; and two step-brothers, Rance and Mark Vanskike.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Clark; parents, Arthur and Mildred Clark; one granddaughter, Madelyn Clark and one grandson, Luke Nathaneal Clark; and one step-brother, Dewayne Vanskike.
