Robyn Larkin Higgins, 61, of Mexico, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at her home.

Robyn was born April 30, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Robert and Kay (Sulgrove) Larkin.

Robyn spent her life in Mexico. She took pride in her teaching career and later in social work then as a public speaker, giving presentations across the country.

Robyn could often be found in the kitchen preparing meals for her family. She loved reading, writing and keeping up-to-date on current events.

She made it a point to attend many sporting events, concerts and ceremonies in which her children and grandchildren participated.

Robyn was also an avid quilt maker and it was important to her that each family member receive a quilt that she had lovingly pieced together.

Robyn is survived by her parents, her four children, David (Melaney) Higgins of Fulton, Aimee (Scott) Miller of Holliday, Courtney Higgins and Katelyn Higgins, both of Mexico, her brother Eric Larkin of Mexico and sister Stacy Larkin of Tallahassee, Florida.

She is also survived by her grandchildren John, Emma, Ella, Robert, Tony, Allie, Abigail, Piper, Tessa, Tionna, Landon, Heidi, Kyra and Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Harold and Mary Ruth Sulgrove, Delmar and Geneva Larkin, as well as her great-grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Services will be Friday, December 1, 2023 at 3:00 at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 until the time of service.
