Robert Clifford Vivion, 85, of Hallsville, formerly of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 4:30 to 7:00 P.M. at Arnold Funeral Home. Private entombment will be in Red Top Cemetery in Hallsville.
Mr. Vivion was born on May 15, 1936 in Elston, Missouri, the son of Robert O. and Mary A. (Hackman) Vivion. On November 25, 1967, in Mexico, he married Sandra Sue Conaway, who preceded him in death.
Robert was a fan of early country music and Al Hurt. He visited New Orleans multiple times to listen to Al Hurt. Robert was proud of his service time after being drafted into the Army. In 2016 he had the opportunity to take the Honor flight to Washington, D.C. He would spend time caring and grooming his yard. Robert was a business owner and enjoyed working with the public. He owned a U-Haul rental and several service station locations.
Survivors include two daughters, Kerrie Vivion of Hallsville and Pamela (Ronnie Spicer) Vivion of Moberly; two sisters, Helen Mueller of Mexico and Shirley Scott of Mountain View; one brother, Ronald Vivion of Jefferson City.
Mr. Vivion was preceded in death by his wife and his parents; two sisters, Irma Verslues and Mary Schaffer; one brother, Richard Vivion.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Lions Club International Foundation. Memorials may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
