Robert Lloyd "Bob" Reno, 40, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at his home.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 1, at Arnold Funeral Home with Kevin Wilkerson officiating. Visitation is on Friday, May 1, from 4 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Robert was born on July 20, 1985, in St. Louis, the son of Tracey Reno. He was a graduate of Mexico High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Bob was a member of First Baptist Church in Mexico, where he was baptized and was very active in the youth group. He was known for his big smile and genuinely kind heart. Bob never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel like family whenever he was around.

He faced many challenges early in life, but always did his best. Bob selflessly sacrificed much of his childhood to care for his siblings, something they will always deeply appreciate.

Throughout his life, he worked various jobs in the Mexico area, primarily in the plumbing industry.

Survivors include his daughter, Nova Reno of St. Louis; one sister, Dallas (Brandon) Hunley of Mexico; one brother, Valley Joles of Springfield; and several aunts and uncles, Mary Jo (Dennis) Burns of Chicago, Illinois, Rich Reno of Mexico, Bob Reno of Mexico, and Dawn (Donnie) O'Connor of Mexico.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Tracey Reno; grandmother, Etta Reno; and one aunt, Cathy Reno.

Memorial donations may be made to Arnold Funeral Home to help the Reno family with funeral expenses.
