Robert A. Newbrough, 71, of Centralia, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at his home.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 28, at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation is Monday from 12 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Robert was born on July 22, 1951, in Mexico, the son of Robert A. and Evelyn (Pierson) Newbrough. He graduated from Mexico High School in 1969 and then obtained an Associate's Degree from Moberly Area Community College.

Mr. Newbrough worked at A.B. Chance/Hubbell for 53 years. He was considered a workaholic but loved spending time with his horses. Robert also enjoyed old cars and camping.

Survivors include his fiancée Darla Sleeth of the home; two daughters, Mendy Allen of Jefferson City and Lori (Rob) Bowers of Chesterfield; five grandchildren, Desiree Price, Marissa Price and Joseph Newbrough, all of Jefferson City, and Nicholas Bowers and Elle Bowers, both of Chesterfield; six great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Brielle, Ciaro, Elias, Christopher and Zamir; two nieces, Julie (Stephen) Blair of Mexico and Melissa (Travis) Mechlin of Sturgeon; and one nephew, Kevin (Shauna) Newbrough of Mexico.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert A. and Evelyn Newbrough; and one brother, Charlie Newbrough, who died in 1997.
