Robert James Evans, Sr., 77, of Wright City, MO, formerly of Columbia, MO, passed away on December 29, 2021.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Arnold Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Robert was born on February 25, 1944, in Watertown, NY, the son of Doris Bushaw (Curtis). He married Edith Evans on July 17, 1980.

He enjoyed collecting knives and tractors. Robert loved working with wood, cutting down trees and baking.

Robert is survived by son, Walter Evans of Newburgh, IN, Mingo (Teri) Evans of Centralia, MO, daughter, Galeana (Charles) Jackson of Maryland Heights, MO and son, Jeremy Evans of Mexico, MO; 10 grandchildren, Breshay, LeWalt, O'Sheon, Samyra, Rayone, Averi, Payton, Jerian, Sebastian and Kingston; and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Bushaw and Maria Rizzi.

He is preceded in death by wife, Edith Evans; mother, Doris Bushaw; two sons, Robert James Evans, Jr. and Sabastain Evans; and brother, Alvin Bushaw.
