Robert Sherrill Denham, 73, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Boone Hospital.

Robert was born on March 23, 1952 in Moberly, the son of Robert and Darlene (Albright) Denham. On September 7, 1974, he married Mary Taylor in Mexico.

Robert was a person of many passions and talents, known for his deep love of the outdoors and a creative spirit that touched everything he did. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found peace and joy in nature—whether quietly casting a line at sunrise or tracking game through the woods. His respect for wildlife extended into the art of taxidermy, where he preserved the beauty of the animals. At home, his hands were just as busy, often crafting vibrant paper beads into unique jewelry and decorations that he loved to share with friends and family. Robert lived a life full of curiosity, craftsmanship, and connection to the natural world, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his wife, Mary; one son, Kyle Denham; one daughter, Amanda (Jason) Denham; two brothers, Alan (Debbie) Denham and Aaron (Julie) Denham; one sister, Sara (Kenneth) Allen; five step-grandchildren, Rylan, Elijah, Thomas, Valen and Scarlet; numerous nieces, nephews, brother and sister in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Darlene; one brother, Mark Denham; as well as four grandparents, Walter and Alma Albright, Peter and Amy Denham.
