Richard "Ricky" Lee Bradley Murray, 27, of Mexico, passed away on August 16, 2024, in Columbia.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, at Arnold Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Richard was born on September 16, 1996, in Appleton, Wisconsin, the son of Keith and Catherine (Shoults) Murray.

Ricky graduated from Mexico High School in 2015 before proudly serving his country as a crew chief in the United States Army.

Ricky was known for his joyful spirit. He enjoyed playing games, cooking up delicious meals, and savoring every bite. His heart was as big as his sense of humor, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood. Ricky's greatest joy, however, came from spending time with his family and helping others. He was the jokester of the family, always bringing laughter and warmth to those around him.

He was survived by significant other, Brooke Tessman; two daughters, Ashlynn and Addisyn Murray; five siblings, Amber Bates, Keith Murray, Jr., Sean Murray (Amber Furlong), Dustin Murray and Desirae Murray; two nieces, Savannah and Haven Murray; one nephew, Beau Murray; and several other nieces.

Ricky was preceded in death by his grandparents.
