Regis Lester Feger, 71, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at his home.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Stanford officiating. Burial will follow in Littleby Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Regis was born on January 1, 1950, in Mexico, Missouri, the son of Leo Delmar and Lucille Ann (Nolte) Feger. On May 1, 1993, under a tree at the farm in rural Mexico, he married Bonnie Jean Thomlinson. She passed away on January 22, 2018.
Regis was a 1968 graduate of Mexico High School. He worked for Gilmore Implement and Wetterau Foods, until becoming a self-employed heavy equipment operator as Feger Bros. Dozing.
Mr. Feger loved bird hunting and fishing. He had attended Rush Hill Community Church.
Survivors include his children, Tony (Lynn) Feger of Mexico, Debbie (Jerry) Wilkey of Bath, Illinois, Darlene Huffstetler of Auxvasse, Rusty (Dana) Sheets of Mexico and Larry (Pamela) Sheets of Taylorsville, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren, Logan Feger, Zane Feger, Alli Durret, Breanna (Cody) Yelvington, Jerica Wilkey, Karissa Wilkey, Bobby (Amber) Huffstetler, Amanda (Micheal) Feezor, Brittany (Matthew) Melke, Nichole (Matthew) Kerley, April (Robert) Smith, Logan Sheets and Josh Sheets; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Wally) Bealmear of Mexico and Marcy Feger of Mexico; and two brothers, David (Millie) Feger of Mexico and Joe (Dot) Feger of Mexico; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Regis was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Galen Feger, Delmar Feger, Don Feger and Mark Feger.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Rush Hill Community Church. All may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
