Raymond Louis Iman, 94, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Pickering Funeral Home . Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a short devotion at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, at Arnold Funeral Home .

Raymond Louis Iman was born May 1, 1932 at home north of Mexico, Missouri. His parents were Louis Augustus Iman and Katie Lee Miller Iman. His father preceded him in death in 1963. His mother preceded him in death in 1998. Raymond was also preceded in death by his sister Juanita Crane and infant brother Danny Iman. He is survived by his brother Robert Barton Iman of Mexico, Missouri.

Raymond married Doris Jean Thomas on November 6, 1955. Raymond and Doris were blessed with four children. Their names are Phillip Louis Iman, Gary Lee Iman, Carol Jean Iman, and Kay Leota (Iman) Castaneda. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Raymond was a Korean Conflict veteran. He retired from Kaiser Refractories after a 42-year career. He served as a Minister for 50 years at Sunrise Christian Church outside Mexico, Missouri, at Love Street Christian Church in Mexico, Missouri, and as a Chaplain at Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico, Missouri.

Raymond passed from this life on earth right beside his loving wife Doris.
