Randy Eugene Fanning, 62, of Mexico, MO formally of Jacksonville, IL passed away Tuesday January 31, 2023, at his home.

Randy was born February 12, 1960, to Earl and Betty (Hoots) Fanning in Amarillo, TX. They preceded him in death.

Randy loved his dogs, Tuffy and Sadie. Both were always by his side. He was known for making people laugh or for lending a helping hand.

Surviving are his siblings, Joe and wife Mary Brant of Jacksonville, IL, Robin Sanders and her boyfriend Bentley Hoover of Mexico, MO, and Rod and his wife Christy Fanning of Oklahoma. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Randy will be missed by all his family and friends, especially good friend Charlie Murphy and his adopted son, Daniel McGlasson.

Along with his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, Randy was preceded in death by an infant niece, Matalyn Grace Fanning.

A private burial will take place a later date. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends this summer.
