Ralph Glen McDaniel, 72, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at his home.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, at Arnold Funeral Home. Memorial Services will follow at 5:30 p.m. with Rev. Tinda Littrell officiating. Private burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Ralph was born on April 2, 1952, in Waynesville, the son of Glen Willis and Oneitta Mae (Davenport) McDaniel. On February 21, 1976, in Mexico, he married Karen Kay Keith. She passed away on June 25, 2008.

Ralph was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. He had worked for Quality Plastics and then Striko Dynarad.

Mr. McDaniel enjoyed going to the Amish, shopping for flowers and fishing. He served on the Audrain County Historical Society board and volunteered at the YMCA and Arthur Hills Golf Course. He was also an avid follower of the Mexico Bulldogs and Eierman Elite Wrestling teams.

Survivors include his daughter, Holly (Darryl) Cole of Mexico; three grandchildren, Maycee Kay Cole, Trevor Cole and Huntress Cole; bonus daughter, Deb (Steve) Haag of Mexico and their two sons, Deacon and Mac and dog, Pru; siblings, Steve (Patsy) McDaniel of Neosho, Sue (Ben) Berry of Aurora, Judy (Jim) Brown of Neosho and Dianna Morton of Mt. Vernon; and one brother-in-law, Roy Berner of Neosho.

In addition to his wife, Kay, Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Onitta McDaniel; two brothers, Robert McDaniel and Kenny McDaniel; and one sister, Debbie Berner.
