Pauline Nichols, 91, of Mexico, passed away at 12:49 a.m., Friday, February 4, 2022, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday February 6, 2022, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Jones and Rev. Steve Kennemore officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pauline was born on November 17, 1930, in Mexico. She was the daughter of Clarence Earl Estes Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Dollens) Estes. On August 11, 1949, in Mexico, she married Bill Nichols who preceded her in death on August 16, 2010.

In her younger days Pauline had worked at Florsheim Shoe Factory and Woolworths. For many years after that she baked and sold cakes. She was a huge fan of Mexico Bulldog sports and events. Most of all she was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Survivors include three sons, Steve Nichols, Keven Nichols (Karen), and Darven Nichols; two daughters, Darcy Kelly, and Stacy Nichols, all of Mexico; one sister, Carolyn Sue McAllister (Charles), of Mexico; seven grandchildren, Jasmin Peak (Chris), of Mexico, Jordan Kelly (Erin), of Palm Springs, California, Dougie Foster Nichols, of Lawton, Oklahoma, Leslie Nichols, of Mexico, Scott Nichols (Sheila), of Mexico, Chris Nichols (Becky), of Santa Fe, and Sarah Kennemore (Steve), of Mexico; and 10 great grandchildren, Sidney and Shelby Kennemore, Avery and Timber Nichols, Brooke, Gage and Caleb Nichols, Derin Klink, and Jayden and Sidney Kelly.
