Patricia (Patty) Lee Clough, 69, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at University of Missouri Hospital.
A memorial service will be planned for a future date.
Mrs. Clough was born on October 25, 1951 in Vandalia, the daughter of Carl L. and Jane (McFarland) Tate. On July 3, 1996, in Mexico, she married Lyle Clough.
Patty was a very selfless person, willing to help others at any time. She had a big heart and shared it with her number one priority, her family. Patty loved the outdoors and experienced it by camping. Wildwood campground held a special place in her heart. She was known to be very competitive in family activities. If given the choice, Patty would choose eating out over cooking every time.
Survivors include her husband, Lyle Clough of Mexico; one daughter, Stephanie (Tommy) Alge of Kirbyville; one son, Brad (Natasha) Clough of Bradleyville; four grandchildren, Denton Somner, Emerald Alge, McKenna Clough, Breanna Meeks; four nieces, Kristina (Paul) Love of Mexico, April (Michael) Thompson of Mexico, Rachel Linder of Hallsville, Jennifer (Brandon) Finkelstein; two nephews, Avery Tate of Mexico, David Tate of Springfield; two sister-in-laws, Joy (Danny) Branstetter of Vandalia, Billye Ann Clough, several great nieces and nephews, as well as many more family and friends.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Carl L. and Jane Tate; two brothers, Tony Tate and Carl A. Tate; one sister, Katherine Tate and one sister-in-law, Barbara Blackmore.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude. Memorials may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
