Patsy "Pat" Jacobs, 90, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the King's Daughters Home.

Memorial Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, at Arnold Funeral Home with Kevin Wilkerson officiating. Entombment will follow at the East Lawn Memorial Park Columbariums.

Pat Jacobs was born on January 4, 1934, in Fulton, Missouri, to Anna (Mirts) and Lewis Karney. She attended the Sunrise and Central country schools during her elementary years. Pat also attended West school and graduated from Fulton High School in 1953. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for over 33 years. Pat began her career as an operator in Fulton in 1953. She was known as "P.J." to her co-workers. Over the years she also worked in Jefferson City, Boonville, Mexico and Independence, MO, before retiring in 1986 as a Network Administration General Clerk in Mexico. After her retirement from the telephone company, Pat drove school buses for the Mexico and Centralia school districts. She also enjoyed driving the Oats bus.

Pat like to vacation with travel groups by bus – taking trips to Mackinaw Island, Nashville, California, New York, and Branson. She enjoyed helping others by driving them to Columbia for doctor's appointments or to shop. Her favorite hobby was reading.

Survivors include a daughter, Donetta Jacobs (Kerry Wilson) of Wildwood and their daughter, Savanna Wilson.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband of over 53 years, Jess "Jake", her parents and her sister, Margaret.
