Pamela Lee Freeman received her angel wings at her home surrounded by family after a long and hard fought battle with Breast Cancer on Saturday, July 17, 2021.
Pam was born on December 29, 1954 to Alfred A. Stegeman and Mardelle G. (Stone) Stegeman, in Mexico, Missouri.
Pam attended St. Brendan's Catholic School and Mexico High School. After school she went into nursing, working first at AMC Hospital and then onto Pin Oaks Nursing Home. The last few years she spent doing private nursing at Teal Lake Assisted Living, Private Homes, and the Veterans Home. She fell in love with all the people she tended to.
Pam was a Kansas City Chiefs fan especially of Patrick Mahomes, and she loved Cardinal Baseball. She also loved music and being with her family which meant the world to her. She was a collector of angels and cardinals.
Pam was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. She will be dearly missed but will always be in our hearts with love and many special memories to cherish. She touched many lives with her caring smile.
She was married to Steve Freeman on August 9, 2006 of who survives, she is also survived by two sons Michael (Lisa) Clayton and Brian Pargeon. Three grandsons Anthony Clayton, Gunner Pargeon, and Stryker Pargeon all of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Also surviving are three step children Ashley VanBunnen, Amber Freeman, and Brock Freeman. Three step grandchildren Riley, Alayna, and Leighanna and her mother-in-law Donna Robinson. Two brothers Mike (Jan) Stegeman, Randy (Stacey) Stegeman, and one sister Sarah (Bobby) Meador. Two nephews, Robert (Ginger) Meador and Brad (Sherry) Stegeman. Three great nephews, Dakota and Kane Stegeman and Tristan Salmons. Two great nieces, Mirenda Stegeman and Brooklynn Salmons.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her very special sister Sandra Dee Stegeman, and her two dogs Cuddles and Toby Mac.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Arnold Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at St. John's Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 with Rev. Donaldo Sonntag officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Therapy & Early Education School, Mexico's Relay for Life, and the Missouri Special Olympics.
The family wishes to Thank Dr. Shahid Waheed, Barb and the staff at the Cancer Center whom she dearly loved and thought of as family. We appreciate Kindred Hospice and all those who loved and supported Pam in any way.
