Orva Elaine Stone, 84, of Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.

Memorial Graveside Services will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery.

Elaine was born on August 22, 1940, in Odon, Indiana, the daughter of Orba and Queen Evelyn (Roberts) Pate. After raising her children, she worked as a waitress.

Mrs. Stone enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers. She loved God and her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Ken Stone of Glasgow, Tina (Randy) Groves of Mexico, Shana Poteet of Mexico, Lance (Jenna) Stone of Illinois, and Heather Stone of Mexico; 14 grandchildren, Ryan Stone, Sevilla Stone, Jordan Stone, Jacob Stone, Tarrah Stone, Levi (Jessica) Groves, Stephanie Groves, Angel Poteet, Cheyenne Poteet, Tawana (Jeremy) Wood, Breanna Germann, Tayla (Michael) Steiner, Jade Stone, and Kenny Stone, Jr.; numerous great-grandchildren, and one brother, Gerry Pate.

Elaine was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen McNevin, Patricia Grasse, and Roberta Malewske.
