Nicholas Alan Doerge, 42, of Mexico, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, at 4760 State Road E, Auxvasse, MO 65231.

Nicholas was born on October 16, 1980, the son of Kenneth Bruce and Lisa Sue (Morris) Doerge. He married Cindy Skelton on September 7, 2014, in Hallsville.

Nick enjoyed working on vehicles, going deer hunting and cooking. He would go fishing with his grandpa whenever he could.  Nick was very family oriented and spent as much time as he could with all of his family. He was the #1 son-in-law! One of Nick's favorite jobs was driving a truck for Red Flat Farms in Montana.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Skelton; three children, James, Deborah and Rissa; parents, Kenny and Lisa Doerge of Billings, Montana; sister, Jennifer (Keith) Wycoff of Hamilton; brother, Andy Doerge; brothers-in-law, Richie (Sara) Skelton and Bobby (Liz) Skelton; special cousins, Richard and Christy; grandparents, Della Hasbrouck and Bernie Doerge; special friends, Roman, Dajaun and Tim Pauls; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Nick was preceded in death by a grandchild; grandmother, Alvera Doerge; great-grandparents; and uncle, Jeff Morris.
