Millie Ann Gish, 87, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the home of her daughter.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Arnold Funeral Home. John Phillips, Jr. will be officiating the service.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Friday, March 29, at Arnold Funeral Home.

Millie was born on March 17, 1937 in Louisiana, Missouri, the daughter of Virgil and Ethel Smith.  She worked at Audrain Medical Center for over 25 years and made many good friends over the years.

Millie was an amazing mother, sister, grandma, and great-grandma.  She spent her life loving each and everyone of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She celebrated every day as if it were her last and lived life to the fullest.  She was a light in all her family and friend's lives.  She will be missed dearly.

Survivors include one daughter, Darla (William Morgan) Gish of Columbia; one son, Randy Gish of Mexico; seven grandchildren, Jasmine, Amber, Dylan (Selena), Shelby, Ryan (Caitlyn), Damon and Darius (Kelley); 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry (Irene) Smith of Louisiana and Darrell (Bonnie) Smith of Louisiana and several nieces and nephews.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Ethel Smith; one daughter, Rebecca Gish; four sisters, Judy Gipson, Helen Shipley, Bonnie Gates and Virginia Johnson; one brother, Danny Smith.
