Michael James Pashia, 58, of Mexico, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, at Victory Christian Church with Pastor Ron Case officiating.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday evening, October 22, 2022, at The Elks Lodge in Mexico.

Michael was born on September 24, 1964, in Kassel, Germany, the son of Ronn and Suzanna (Goewert) Pashia. He married Holly Nienhueser Johansen on January 1, 2013, at their home.

Mike was a wonderful husband, loving father and grandfather and a kind man to everyone he knew. He was proud of his children. Mike was a lifelong musician, playing the drums. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing and being outside.

He is survived by his wife, Holly of the home; three children, Caleb (Aimee) Pashia of Mexico, Colin (Lindsay) Pashia of Greenville, SC and Taylor (John) Dexheimer of Taylorville, IL; two step-children, Kelsey (Peter) Kreyling of Mexico and Eric Johansen (Leah Laramie) of St. Louis; eight grandchildren, Jane, Max, Maggie, Eve, Alice, Huck, Henry and Charles; parents, Ronn and Sue Pashia; and five siblings, Ronda, Chrissy, Dawn, Brian and Phillip.
