Michael Ray Castelli, 71, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at his home.

A celebration of life is planned for a future date.

Micheal was born on February 25, 1955 in St. Louis, the son of Vincent and Eileen (Thompson) Castelli.  On December 12, 1992 he married Mary Elizabeth Jones.

Michael dedicated more than 35 years of his life to working at Dial Corporation. Outside of work, he found joy in hunting, fishing, and listening to KSHE 95, often reminiscing about the memories and music of his younger years. He was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and rarely missed cheering them on. Michael especially enjoyed Mary's cooking, often saying that nothing compared to a meal she made.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Castelli of Mexico; one son, Michael James (Angela) Castelli of Purdin; four grandchildren, Kelsey Nicole Brock, James Kole Castelli, Kodie Tyler Castelli and Kloey Jade Castelli; one brother, Bart (Joann) Castelli of St. Louis and several nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Eileen Castelli; one brother, Vincent Castelli and one sister, Joann Haneide.
