Melissa Ann Beasley, 35, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at University Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15 at Arnold Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Neely officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14 at Arnold Funeral Home.

Melissa was born on April 12, 1986, in Mexico, the daughter of William and Ruth Ann (Mitchell) Bates, Sr. She married Dennis Beasley on June 17, 2006, at Lockewood Baptist Park.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Beasley of the home; three children, Cameron, Blake and Kinslee Beasley; parents, William and Ruth Ann Bates; brothers, William Bates, Jr. and Jeffery (Sarah) Bates; nephews, William Bates, III, Lijah Bates, Dillon Gish, Wyatt Gish and Marcus Moore; nieces, Abagail Bates and Maya Gideon; mother-in-law, Betty Beasley; sisters-in-law, Kay (Tony) Gish, Debbie (James) Gideon and Vickie (Michael) Moore; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Melissa is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Allen Beasley; grandparents, Glen and Frances Bates, Angus and Edith Mitchell and Edna Beasley; and great-grandparents, Grandma Norris and Rose Mitchell.
