FUNERAL PARKING (Overflow): Several shuttles will be provided from Centralia Intermediate School (CIS) to Spirit Hall for Megan's funeral service on Saturday morning. Following the service, shuttles will transport back to CIS. The funeral procession will then pass by CIS for all guests to join as Megan is taken to her final resting place at Centralia City Cemetery.

Megan Jean Fouch (née Dunlavy), 36, of Thompson, Missouri, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 18, 2026. Born on December 12, 1989, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Megan was the beloved daughter of Michelle and Timothy Dunlavy Sr.

Megan lived the kind of life that leaves a lasting mark.

She was the kind of woman who could walk into any room and instantly make it brighter, louder, and more alive. She had a magnetic presence, a contagious laugh, and a way of making people feel like they belonged. She was the life of the party--always ready to talk about life, laugh until it hurt, celebrate hard, and love even harder. She lived fully, loved fiercely, and left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.

Raised in Bettendorf, Iowa, as the third of six children, Megan grew up surrounded by the beautiful chaos of a big family--constant noise, endless competition, plenty of arguments, and even more love. She embraced that role fully. She was steady and spirited all at once: the sister you could count on for honesty, loyalty, support, and laughter when you needed it most.

Megan graduated from Bettendorf High School and went on to attend Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, where she excelled as a student-athlete and played collegiate volleyball, earning numerous honors and awards. She was a beloved presence on campus--known for her friendliness, bright smile, and gift for bringing people together. It was there that she met David Fouch.

What began as an immediate friendship quickly became a once-in-a-lifetime love story.

Megan and David built a life together rooted in laughter, faith, friendship, and unwavering devotion. They were truly best friends and were known wherever they went for their big personalities, generous hearts, and ability to make any gathering more fun. David and Megan were the loves of each other's lives and together they built something extraordinary.

Shortly after college, Megan and David married and moved to Missouri where they created a beautiful life together and were blessed with four children: Mckinley, Marlowe, Ladd and Mabry.

Above all else, Megan was a mother--and it was the role she treasured most.

She loved motherhood deeply and completely. She embraced every part of it: pregnancy, newborn snuggles, sports schedules, school events, late nights, and all the beautiful chaos in between. She did not simply care for her family--she created a home filled with warmth, laughter, comfort, and unconditional love. She was her children's biggest cheerleader, their safe place, their fiercest protector, and their example of kindness, strength, and joy. Proud to be called, "Mini Michelle," she followed the example of the mother she so admired and poured that same love into raising her own children.

For the past several years, Megan and David made their home in Centralia and Mexico, Missouri, areas, where they built an incredibly strong and loving community. Megan gave endlessly of herself through volunteer work at school, church, and community events. She believed in showing up--for her people, for her children, for her town, and for anyone who needed her.

She served as Fitness Coordinator at the Mexico YMCA, where she led classes, supported countless events, and became a familiar and beloved face to so many. In 2020, Megan also launched her own jewelry business, Mc & Mar, named after her daughters at the time. Through custom orders and holiday drops, she created and shipped thousands of earrings and accessories to friends, family, and customers across her communities. She loved seeing people wear something she made and finding joy in the little details that made others feel beautiful and seen.

Megan loved her people big.

She loved beach vacations--especially New Smyrna Beach and Myrtle Beach, bonfire nights, domino games that lasted late into the night, cheering on her children from the sidelines, and time spent with family and friends wherever they were. She especially loved boating days on Mark Twain Lake, where she proudly embraced her role as the "boat princess." If Megan was there it was going to be louder, funnier and a whole lot more memorable.

Her faith was also a steady and guiding force throughout her life. It was not simply something she believed in--it was something she lived. She carried the faith into her marriage, her friendships, her motherhood, and her community leading with love, compassion, generosity, and grace.

Those who knew Megan will remember her for so much more than her warmth and kindness--though she had both in abundance. They will remember her laughter, her fierce loyalty, her big personality, her honesty, her ability to make everyone feel welcome, and the way she made life feel fuller just by being in it. She had the rare gift of making people feel seen, loved, and important. She made the ordinary feel special and the hard moments feel lighter.

She was vibrant. She was unforgettable. She was one of a kind. She was and always will be a legend.

Megan is survived by her loving husband David Fouch; her cherished children Mckinley, Marlowe, Ladd, and Mabry; her parents Michelle and Timothy Dunlavy Sr.; her siblings Amanda McSweeney (Barry), Timothy Dunlavy Jr. (Erica), Melissa Paul (Zach), Tom Dunlavy (Maggie), and Tyler Feldlavy (Kierstyn); her parents-in-law Janie and David Fouch; her siblings-in-law Zach Fouch (Erin), Daniel Fouch, Rebecca Fouch-Hatcher (Brian), Leah Fouch, and Matt Fouch (Amy); and 26 nieces and nephews all of whom adored their Aunt Megan and will carry her spirit with them always.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Janny and Frank Mallek, and June and Tom Dunlavy.

Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, at the Mexico Area YMCA, 1127 Adams Street, Mexico, MO 65265.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Spirit Hall, 20650 MO-124, Centralia, MO 65240. Burial will follow at Centralia City Cemetery.
