Maud Fisher, 91, of Mexico, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Monroe Manor in Paris, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2, at Arnold Funeral Home with Chris Harley officiating. Burial will follow in South Fork Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Maud was born on July 16, 1933, in Monroe County, the daughter of Ralph and Minnie Bell (Grimes) Bridgford. She married Charles L. Fisher on April 13, 1952 and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2008.
A woman of strong faith, Maud was actively involved in her church community. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends and spending winters in the warmth of Texas. For many years, she worked as a secretary in the nursing department, where her dedication and care touched many lives
Survivors include her sons, Roger Fisher of Mexico and Dallas (Jennifer) Fisher of Des Moines, Iowa; one granddaughter, Savannah Kidd of Gastonia, NC; two sisters, Barbara Fisher of Mexico and Margaret Thomas of Mexico; and one brother, Jim Bridgford of Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fisher; a sister, Juanita Willingham; and a brother, Dale Bridgford.
Memorial donations may be made to South Fork Cemetery. They may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson St., Mexico, MO 65265.
