Mary Jane Thurman, 68, of Versailles, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.

Private interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mary was born on November 13, 1955, in Mexico, the daughter of Lawrence T. and Helen M. (Jones) Thurman.

Ms. Thurman was a graduate of Mexico High School. She worked many years in the banking industry until working for Walmart in Lake Ozark.

Mary had attended St. Brendan Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies of St. Brendan, where she had chaired their dinner a couple of times. Years ago, she was very active with the Girl Scouts.

Survivors include one brother, Howard (Debra) Thurman of Mexico; her cousin, Pam Zimmerman of California; and two nieces, Lacey (Harry) Gabrielson of Austin, Minnesota, and Regina Thurman of St. Peters.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Helen Thurman; and an infant brother, Harold Thurman.
